True/False: Plants do not need to perform cellular respiration because they can obtain energy from sunlight?

Please explain in depth, as well!True/False: Plants do not need to perform cellular respiration because they can obtain energy from sunlight?
False. Photosynthesis will only produce glucose. It does not produce any energy in a form that usable by the cells. That sugar can not be turned into a usable form of energy without the process of cellular respiration.True/False: Plants do not need to perform cellular respiration because they can obtain energy from sunlight?
Plants need to breathe in carbon dioxide for photosynthesis (and oxygen is emitted as a byproduct) and they also need to breathe in oxygen to produce energy that the plants need for growth and transportation of nutrients. In the process plants also produce carbron dioxide.

Therefore plants breathe in both carbon dioxide and oxygen, and they also breathe out carbon dioxide and oxgen. What they cannot do is to ultilize the large amount of nitrogen in the atmosphere and must rely on nitrogen fixing bacteria in their roots or the nitrogen compounds in the soil to supply them with nitrogen.
false, plants need to perform both cellular respiration and photosynthesis in orfer to survive, sunlight comes from photosynthesis anyways.
True
