Is this false advertising? Need your opinion?

I bought a container of butterscotch ice cream the other day. I have now discovered that not only does the ice cream not have butter in it, but there's no scotch either. What's going on?Is this false advertising? Need your opinion?

i think u r mistaken, there are many things called butter scotch without butter n scotch, like candy, ice cream etc.

nah, butterscotch is just the flavor. If you bought strawberry icecream, it might not have actual strawberries in it (artificial flavor)
